Founded in 1998 by Marius Botha, Unics Technologies is the creator of the popular Bastion Internet Access Appliance. Our products, services and technical ability are known throughout the country. We have been successful in setting up partnerships with local and international big brand IT companies and are notable in delivering solutions to SME’s, Local Municipalities and Government Agencies.
Since 2007 Unics Technologies and Elangeni Consulting Services have formed joint ventures on various projects in Mpumalanga. This enabled Mrs Yvone Thobile Mabuza from Elangeni Consulting Services to form a strong relationship with Unics Technologies. An agreement was reached in 2010 which enabled Mrs Mabuza to become a full partner in Unics Technologies and from December 2010 she has been representing Unics Technologies as our ICT sales, training and projects manager. Mr Marius Botha heads the operational and technical teams. Today, Unics Technologies is a fully BBBEE company with 100% active managing members in Mrs Yvone Mabuza and Mr Marius Botha.
Today UNICS Technologies serves more than 400 customers in Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Free State and KZN and employs 46 staff members between our Nelspruit, Middelburg, Bloemfontein and Durban branches. We have an excellent track record in different ICT arenas but excel in delivering solutions in networking infrastructure, desktop support, CCTV & surveillance, security systems, UNIX open source, Novell, Microsoft, Cisco and wireless technologies.

Unics Technologies is a fully BEE compliant company with Mrs Yvone Mabuza and Mr Marius Botha as the registered owners. Both Mrs Mabuza and Mr Botha are full time employees of Unics Technologies and are committed in their effort to deliver solid and reliable ICT solutions to our customers.
We currently employ 46 staff members in South Africa of which 35 work at our Nelspruit branch. Our staff contingency consists of 50% HDI personnel while 30% of our staff members are women. Unics implemented an empowerment program 2 years ago which is now paying excellent dividends. We are proud to announce that the majority of our 55% black senior staff members, who are either managers or team leaders, were successfully trained into their current positions from junior trainee internships.
